Chris Jensen
Since starting Chris Jensen Consulting in 2005, Chris has offered specialty IT consulting services to customers in the greater New England/New York area. With a wide range of specialties such as systems and network engineering, security and custom programming, Chris excels in the creative uses of open source software and has the experience that comes with successfully completing many large scale projects for clients ranging from startups to global players. Current projects include coding in PHP and Flex on an offline medical sales application of his own design, developing wind farm management software with GIS capabilities, and managing a large group of servers on the cloud.
Before starting his business, Chris was the Director of Technology for UniTel, an independent telephone company and Internet service provider in Unity, Maine. As Director of Technology, Chris lead the company though the successful implementation of the company's DSL service, as well as handling direct IT support.
Chris enjoys the unique challenges that come with dealing with the variety of clients and projects he is involved with. In his rare down-time he enjoys woodworking, kayaking, snowboarding and robotics.
