Gene Wendland

Gene Wendland is the Chief Financial Officer of Tilson Technology Management. As CFO, Gene is responsible for ensuring that fiscal responsibility is a standard in our everyday performance, protecting not only the company’s future, but its clients’ and investors’ as well. Gene oversees all financial functions for the Tilson family of companies, including financial reporting, banking and insurance relations, Federal grant compliance for grant-funded projects, cash forecasting, and internal controls.

Gene brings nearly 30 years of experience in senior finance and operations management roles to Tilson, including substantial management experience in retailing and wholesaling consumer products, domestic manufacturing and overseas sourcing operations, corporate restructuring and refinancing, creating strategic business plans and workable budgets, and providing an open, inclusive work environment. He also has significant experience in IT project management, especially in the consumer product arena, with particular expertise in inventory control, purchase order management, and back office applications.

He is a graduate of Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri.
